This cleanser is gentle but clarifies which I love! I have combination skin so I want my skin to feel clean but I don't want it getting dry or patchy because that is NOT cute under makeup. I've really been feeling this Bioderma cleansing water that was gifted to me from a good girl friend recently. It's super purifying! I will typically use the proactiv lotion immediately after toning because if I want to quit dealing with hyperpigmentation then I have to ensure no new breakouts appear on my skin. That's my thought process. I want the benzoyl peroxide going right in! The Neutrogena Hydro Boost is amazing! I will normally smother it around my eyes and on my lips before continuing my skin care just as a super hydrating base. It makes your lips look and feel so hydrated! I have a couple cartridges and jellies from Clinique (white cartridge for uneven skin tone and blue cartridge for smooth skin texture). I only use the jelly because I have combination/oily skin and too many creams are a no-go but I can do jellies and water gels all day long. Right now I am using the Clinique all about eyes cream but I can't say it is amazing or life changing at all. It is a nice smooth & creamy texture which is nice on days my skin decides to look 20 year older so it can help me out with the under eyes a bit. But otherwise I prefer my night cream which I will feature in another post. I almost always finish with an oil.. "BUT GIRL YOU HAVE COMBINATION OILY SKIN!!" Yes I know.. but my skin has changed for the better since I started using an oil! My skin is..... wait for it.... LESS OILY! I just put one drop in my palm and press my palms together then press the oil onto my skin for a thin even application and it's been a game changer for my skin sebum production and texture. I forgot to include my sunscreen in the picture but today I used the Supergoop City Serum. I heard "you can use all of the Vitamin C, retinol and collagen serums in the world to even your skin and prevent wrinkles but if you don't wear sunscreen to protect it from the strongest threat to your skin daily then you're wasting your money".
Ok.. can I explain the Lip Smackers??
I was looking for my EOS balm one day and couldn't find it and my daughter offered her jumbo pink crayon shaped Lip Smackers pen in Cotton Candy flavor. I hesitated thinking what is this going to do.. I put it on and instantly thought oh wow, ok.. this is really smooth and thick almost like one of my more expensive lip masques. I put it out of my mind and went about my day.. Hours later, I thought wow my lips are so nice and smooth right now I must have drank a ton of water today.. Then I thought - well not really much more than I do any other day so what did I do differently?? Yes. I really backtracked to find the source of my smooth lips.. And ya know what? I found her lip smackers, put it on again, confirmed it as the source and BOUGHT MYSELF SOME! Now I have a lip smackers everywhere! One in my car, my briefcase, my purse, my nightstand... everywhere! Who doesn't want smooth lips and to smell like candy?! 🍭 LOL!
